Search our selection Food Packages approved for NYS DOCCS inmates. Our NYS Inmate approved food selections include a variety of meats, fresh vegetables, vegan, and snack items all hermetically sealed, (when required) (ethanol) alcohol free, and meet all the requirements of NYDOCCS directive #4911. 
As per Directive #4911 inmates may receive three packages a month containing food items for a total combined weight of 40 pounds. This 40 pound limit includes food packages received through the mail and from visits. Only food weight is the weight included in the 40lbs restriction all other non-food items are not included although some restrictions may apply due to specific facility procedures. In certain circumstances packages may be rejected such as housing placement or disciplinary measures. Before you place your order please check with the facility to ensure that the inmate is able to receive packages. Please see our return policy or refer to directive 4911 for specific instances when a package may be rejected. Rejected packages for the occurrences noted in our return policy are not eligible for refund or return. Food is NOT eligible for returns.
***It is our continued commitment to provide quality and affordable brands approved for NYS DOCCS to all those who are incarcerated. Our package essentials are shipped twice a week with an expected 2-3 day delivery time to any NYS DOCCS Facility once shipped. Some delays may occur based on the availability of certain brand items including size, color, style or carrier backups. In certain instances advertised brands may be discontinued or out of stock at the time your order is placed. In these uncommon cases CIG Essentials will replace an out of stock or discontinued item with an item of equal or greater value at the company’s expense in order to complete your package for delivery. Substituted items will be clearly noted on the order receipt and included in your package***
