When We Ship
Our shipping days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays of every week, why you ask?
All of the New York State correctional facilities we ship to take 1 - 2 business days to arrive ONCE SHIPPED, we also take into account the additional time the package room may take to process, and release your package once it has arrived to the facility. Many of the items we ship are perishable such as meats, cheeses, and vegetables which are temperature sensitive, and deserve special care when shipping. Our shipping days ensure that your package will arrive to the facility on a normal business day, and it is not waiting in the package room until the next business day (if it arrives on a Saturday or Sunday). If your order is awaiting I or 2 items to be complete (not missing any items) we will hold your package until the next shipping day. If your package does not contain all items on your purchase sheet on the last shipping day we will ship your order, and issue a refund for any out of stock items.
1 Day Delivery
If the Facility you are shipping to is a 1 business delivery time from our packaging facility the last shipping day will be Thursday which will ensure a Friday delivery to the correctional facility.
2 Day Delivery
If the Facility you are shipping to is a 2 business day delivery time from our packaging facility the last shipping day will be Wednesday which will ensure a Friday delivery to the correctional facility.
Unfortunately we have no control over when the package room will release the package.
Why don't we ship on Monday you ask?
Have you ever walked into your favorite Big Box store on a fresh Monday morning, only to find the shelves empty? Well, similar to your favorite stores, Monday is a huge inventory day for us as well. So, if a shipment of products is delayed by our vendor this will then delay the delivery of your essential items as well. So, we use Mondays as a day dedicated to restocking your favorite essential items ready to be delivered to your loved ones.
Packages that do not contain perishable items such as clothing, personal essentials, or food that does not need any kind of refrigeration (snacks) will ship Monday – Friday.
Because some of the clothing items we offer ship directly from the manufacture packages that contain clothing items as well as perishable food items may arrive separate, (the food may arrive separate from clothing). We do this to prevent damage to clothing in the event of food spills or spoilage. We are also able to offer the best price on clothing by shipping directly from the manufacture.
If you are sure that the facility you are shipping to will distribute packages 7 days a week once it has arrived, please let us know, and we will ship on any day business day.
